Ridiculously dated vampire flick from '71 that feels far older than its release date. A vapid young couple are invited to the desert by a sexy femme fatale only to be glacially paced seduced. Never boring exactly but borders parody.
The big crime in film is being boring. Other than that, The Velvet Vampire manages to be both campy and address relationships in ways most modern rom-coms don't. Still, it's dumb AND boring.
