Our take

A mysterious sense of stillness hangs over M. Blash’s otherworldly and beautifully-shot contemplation on familial grief, told through haunting ellipses. Indie darlings Jena Malone and Chloë Sevigny are deeply moving as siblings in a state of limbo, emotionally paralyzed by the loss of a loved one.
