Our take

Shot in less than two weeks for around $50,000, this is one of the earliest features from the Pope of Pop Cinema, Roger Corman. A kitschy, sci-fi B-movie about an animal-woman hybrid, The Wasp Woman delights with its cheap effects and even cheaper costumes. Watch out for that infamous finale!
