Ratings & Reviews

  1. Renton47's rating of the film The Wild Party

A pervy and boozy American Pie for 1920's sorority sisters - if that's not an appealing sell then good luck to you. Establishes some of the episodic aimlessness that will influence college comedies, and I would be surprised if Stillman didn't rework this for Damsels. Technically its lack of music and pronounced comedy beats give it a surreal quality, like a modern homage to how suggestive early cinema could be.

  2. Viginti_tres's rating of the film The Wild Party

Surprisingly deft and daringly toned comedy. The patter, defiance and doting shown between the girls gives it a very modern feel, very much akin to a lot of the shows and films beng made on the indie scene now.

  3. Polyglot's rating of the film The Wild Party

This is the film I heard Clara Bow speak for the first time. IT WAS AMAZING.
