Sur le thème de l'intemporalité de la beauté de la nature face à l'exigence sociale et professionnelle, pour une œuvre certes bienvenue mais un peu tiède...www.cinefiches.com

  13. Bram Vroonland's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

The restrictiveness of information got me so paranoid I got convinced there was gonna be a murder at the end of the film. The actual message of the film couldn't be further from this kind of Hollywood ordeal. The final minutes tie it all in in a hectic 'aha' sequence and a little help from the man on the motorcycle.

  14. Andrew Miller's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

The end of an era for Kiarostami-- the poetry remains, even in the shadows.

  15. Merih Sakarya's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

İzleyeni rahatsız edip akışı sürekli sekteye uğratan tekrarlar filmde önemli işlev görüyor. Tepe ve ağaç son adresimizi. "Sınav"da olma boşunalığı. İmgeler "Doktor" öte dünya masalı ile bu dünyanın güzelliklerine sırt çevirmemizi, (kimse doktor istemiyor!) Kaplumbağa yavaş ve beklemeye olan tahammülsülüğümüzü. Ya "Süt" aramalar? Ölümün yüzüne ve aşkın yüzüne kavuşulamıyor filmde! Bir de ekibin yüzüne, sanki yoklar!

  17. sfasatura's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

  18. narcekirdegi's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

ah furug! how kind you were!

  19. Korhan Kalabalık's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

  20. Esra Yılmaz's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

one of kiarostami's most amazing works he was very special for me by then still there's no other director from this lands that can make me feel this kind a love of cinema and how beautifull life actually is just the way it is with those small unimportent moments

  21. HSBilly's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

love the kiarostami's offscreen dialogues, and the decision not to show the dying woman, the digger, and the main character's colleagues, is genius. fucking love it. it focus on the wonder of waiting than the wonder of dying. also fucking love it.

  22. ASHES IN THE HOURGLASS's rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

Kiarostami most beautiful bids adieu to the 20th Century and gently lets itself be carried into the new millennium from which nobody will return from. We are brought into this isolated corner of the world by these characters who confuse respect with pity. They are guests who objectify an endangered way of life while imposing their own onto the people. And yet, we relate with them because so do we as viewers of cinema

  23. Marc St-Cyr (Death cinéphilia)'s rating of the film The Wind Will Carry Us

Maybe the journey is more important than the photo of dead! The film is more powerful the second time you see it! I can focus more on « stupid » little details. Kiarostami have such imagination to tell a banal story on multiple angles. I still can't understand it, and i still don't know which of his poetry-films of the 90's is the best. They all troubled my vision of cinema (i wish to see one on big screen so bad)!
