Cris (12) and her brother are thrown out of the car by their parents after their endless squabbling. That marks the start of a brief ramble through northwestern Brazil. In this modern fable, an upper-class teenager learns to see the world from a different perspective.

The first 15 minutes were just weird and very powerful. A power tha unfortunately kinda dissolves itself in it's pedestrian second half (chasing the very creativily empty "middle class emptyness"). The acting was mostly just bad, but I didn't even care about it, cos that girl's got a very good presence. I wanted to like it more, but it is still a pretty interesting film, if only for it's ingenious first half. 2,5/5
