A strange fable of Tarkovskian proportions, 'Tikkun' is gripping with its minimal structure and sick little sense of humor. Haim-Aaron is an Orthodox Jew- he is sucked deep into his faith, the limits of his devotion are tested. 'Tikkun' is a hebrew word meaning 'fixing' or 'rectification'. This film follows God's will as it relates to Haim-Aaron and the fate of anyone that stands in its way.
Gustave Courbet: El Desperado discovers l'Origine du Monde but loses his family along the way. You can't eat your cake, and have it too.
Quality film with a fantastic atmosphere that looms like a ghost in the background.
