Ratings & Reviews

  1. Güntülü Yılmaz's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  2. sfasatura's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  3. Tülay Bingöl's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  4. Esra Yılmaz's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Kids reminded me the siblins from' the grave of fireflies' silently directed movies are always way more effective

  5. Andrew Miller's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Watching trauma at work, but also resilience.

  6. Naciye Şeyma Kaya's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

dokunaklı bir konu dramatize edilmeden/ağlaklığa düşmeden işlenmiş.

  7. Korhan Kalabalık's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  8. Bekir Tonga's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  9. Ostermyers's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

so sad. There are Korean girls born actresses, gosh !

  10. Lorna Singh's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

A sad film, without intentionally trying to tear at the heartstrings. Bravo to the director for getting such realistic performances from the 2 little girls.

  12. Alexander Tennent's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

This film blew me away! Absolutely daring and unique approach to a coming-of-age story. Hands down the best child performances I've ever seen!

  13. Fredi :)'s rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  14. El Biffo's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Totally depressing, I really enjoyed it. The scene where the little girls exchange all their money for pennies really brought back memories-I did the same thing when i was 5, so I would have "more money". Except I had parents. I remember them laughing about it at the time. They should've stopped me, it was stupid carrying around all those pennies, but at least I had parents, unlike these pathetic tykes.

  15. Ethan's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

A good film about children trying to understand the adult world.

  16. michelle's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

I'm so sleepy. Maybe that's why this movie bored me so much. Maybe it's not. The world may never know.

  17. simonadp's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

astonishing the way he follows the kids, catches their eye and their little world made by objects, gestures and silences...

  18. Jeremy Moss's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  19. frailsoul's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Pure and sad story that may remind some moments of our own childhood. Impressive in its own way.

  20. zselen's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Slow placed movie with a beautiful story-telling. As the camera continues to move, you get the feeling that you're actually peeking into their real life.

  21. aechjay's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Felt like watching my childhood in Hapcheon.

  22. Roberta Lynn's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

  23. Stu Witmer's rating of the film Treeless Mountain

Lovely, quiet, ultra-unsentimental little film consisting primarily of nearly claustrophobic close-ups of two kids cast adrift by their mom. Scenes are interlaced with static, establishing nature shots in the manner of Ozu.

  24. ䷀'s rating of the film Treeless Mountain

I usually don't like to write that much, but this one earns my attention. Treeless mountain is one of the best films i saw at the 19th Films From The South Festival in Oslo.
