Seul le chien est impressionnant dans cette oeuvre décevante, d'un réalisateur intéressant qui nous doit une urgente revanche... www.cinefiches.com
Strange to realize that, despite the presence of a slobbering pooch who gets into no end of trouble (including bursting face-first through a pantry door and eating all of Tom Hanks' food), it's very clear the filmmakers considered "Turner & Hooch" their entry in the popular genre of 'buddy-cop' movies rather than the bonafide family film it would have no doubt been if produced just a few years later.
It's Tom Hanks investigating crimes with a dog. Yes, they made a film like this. No, it isn't horrible, but no, it isn't that good either.
Tom HANKS is Turner. The other good guy is the dog, HOOCH. But who plays HOOCH ???
Extremely hiliarious when Hooch causes nothing but trouble and how Tom Hanks has to deal with it. One of the funniest films Hanks starred in, can't stop laughing/thinking about it.
