What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film Tutuguri-Tarahumaras 79

The film that preceded "Los Pintos", whith a strong link to Antonin Artaud's text - which led Carrasco and Hébraud to film the Tarahumaras - that already presents, in great amazement, their anti-etnographic cinematic eye and ear. By letting the mechanically form of the medium cinema being raptured by the ritualistic form of ancestral practices, cinema raises a state of concrete hypnosis, reaching its own origins.
