Ratings & Reviews

  1. Ben Peyton's rating of the film Two Evil Eyes

The Romero portion gets two stars. The Argento piece easily gets four. His portion was really really good. Almost turned it off after the first half. Glad I didn't.

  2. film_lies101's rating of the film Two Evil Eyes

Romero's segment feels like made for TV movie of the week, no doubt due to his workingman like way of filming action. Barbeau is excellent, although she isn't given much to do besides being frightened most of the time. The ending is quite fantastic! Argentp's segment is far more cinematic as one would guess, Keitel as well as the rest of the cast are very good. Too bad it seems tame compared to Martino's version

  3. FISCHER's rating of the film Two Evil Eyes

On était fort justement en droit d'attendre beaucoup de l'intéressante conjonction Poe / Argento / Romero, mais le résultat déçoit cependant sévèrement... www.cinefiches.com

  7. Log Lady's rating of the film Two Evil Eyes

Romero's story is more even, but I preferred Argento's. Mostly due to the cinematography and general atmosphere. There were more individual elements that I liked, and he utilized Poe more effectively combining several of his stories together. The result is his version of what Poe can offer to modern audiences, and it's a very good one (especially compared to the crap I've been watching from him lately).

  8. Guibry's rating of the film Two Evil Eyes

The Argento segment is far better... I Love the end title by Pino Donaggio!
