Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Two-Minute Warning

Parfait huis-clos et suspense garanti pour un spectacle qui fonctionne, malgré les inévitables personnages fort stéréotypés... www.cinefiches.com

  2. Filipe F. Coutinho's rating of the film Two-Minute Warning

Pretty much in the vein of '70s filmmaking, an extremely nihilistic film wrapped in cynicism to depict quite a bleak vision of mankind. It's always a pleasure to watch Jack Krugman and Cassavetes, but ultimately Two Minute Warning isn't much of anything.

  3. Diego Carrera's rating of the film Two-Minute Warning

Weak screenplay, superficial characters and subplots, but what a magnificent edition!

  4. mjgildea's rating of the film Two-Minute Warning

Two-Minute Warning is a slow and seemingly pointless buildup with a hell of a payoff. It has a great all-star cast which for the most part doesn't get used to its full potential (too many cooks in the kitchen) but those who get an ample amount of screen time really shine. Not quite a70s disaster film, but not quite a 70s paranoiac conspiracy thriller either. Great stuff regardless.

  5. Robert Karol's rating of the film Two-Minute Warning

It's easy to pigeonhole this as a disaster film, right down to the over-stuffed, often over-qualified cast. But this is not a film that provides an easy villain (the sniper's motives and personality are left eerily ambiguous), and the slowly building menace is effectively handled. Shot mostly on location, it also serves as a fascinating time-capsule of 1970s Los Angeles.
