Ratings & Reviews

  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

Il y a toujours quelque chose d'intéressant dans un film de Rollin ! www.cinefiches.com

  2. Constance Bennett's rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

Probably my favourite Rollin so far. The relationship between the girls is lovely, and the whole film has a moody, dreamlike haze to it; it seems almost like a darker, more brooding alternative to many of Sophia Coppola's female centrics films.

  3. Whitney Schmuck's rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

  4. Final Girl ™'s rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

god... my favorite Rollin so far. the relationship between the two girls so sweet and sentimental, I felt a pang in my heart and wished to be a child once more, when girls are closer to each other and wilder than they ever will be again. it is only love that keeps you alive and it is only love that helps you die. then, to be reborn from the rotted leftovers. your girl = love = blood = life

  5. rulesofachia's rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

This was the 1st Rollin film I ever saw and I still think it's about as good as his 70's work.

  6. Coheed 2.5's rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

  7. Matthew_Lucas's rating of the film Two Orphan Vampires

It's strange that a film Jean Rollin made in 1995 feels even more dated than the films he made in the 60s and 70s, but this tale of two orphans who pretend to be blind but are actually vampires is perhaps Rollin's weakest offering in the genre. Interesting ideas (is this all the fantasy of two disturbed young girls?) ultimately buried by awkward pacing and execution.
