This is a movie whose primary virtues are a) not overplaying its emotional hand at any time, which is too rare b) generally being pleasant c) it’s only 82 minutes long d) color correction that’s heavy on rich reds and blues without looking processed to death e) Betbeder using the 1.33 aspect ratio casually, just because it looks good for the kinds of shots he wants to do.
