3.6 Their lake is turning into a swamp, threatening the future of an entire community of the sorriest damn bunch of losers you ever saw: alcoholics, reformed alcoholics, meth heads, recovering junkies...they go to church on Sunday and shoot off fireworks Saturday night while eating homemade pork skins from the ample supply of local boar they hunt with night vision scopes on their shotguns.
You get the feeling they beat Werner Herzog to making this documentary, although stylistically it's certainly more tranquil and visual than most of his work. I really enjoyed the trip through the beautiful swampy landscape, as well as the bizarre stories of these people from Uncertain. Very interesting documentary, an easy and satisfying watch.
