  1. Anca.'s rating of the film Under the Blossoming Cherry Trees

"You don't hesitate to kill people but you are afraid of flowers."

  2. Richard Tines's rating of the film Under the Blossoming Cherry Trees

Hallucinatory sake overdose meets lost Baudelaire poem heroine... it's gotta be something in the flowers, man...

  3. Kelvin Thompson's rating of the film Under the Blossoming Cherry Trees

2-2.5. Politically interesting, serves its necessary consequences, and makes excellent use of sakura as a symbol of femininity and consuming madness bonded together. But it's also repetitious, drags its feet too long, and falls into some glaring inconsistencies (how was anyone staying alive without food? Why walk back under the sakura blossoms at the end?). But I'd definitely say it was worth a watch.

  8. Andrew Miller's rating of the film Under the Blossoming Cherry Trees

Study of a particular kind of masculine foolishness-- when the bodies pile up, it's too late to rethink your priorities.
