Ratings & Reviews

  1. the_mentaculus's rating of the film Unmistaken Child

A film of amazing serendipity. The project has innumerable possibilities for success, and the filmmakers find every one of them. It's a coming-of-age and a walkabout, a film of intimacy and wonder, with some truly breathtaking footage of scenery and character. Accepting its conceit, there is a profundity in seeing a disciple play with the toddler version of his spiritual teacher that I cannot adequately describe.

  2. Ian Nolan's rating of the film Unmistaken Child

Beautiful and muti-layered. Looks at loss, faith, family, religion, childhood - all that good stuff in such a warm and tender way. Still one of my favourite films after many years.

  3. spinninglovestory's rating of the film Unmistaken Child

It's just an amazing documentary. So touching, raw, sad at parts but soft and just brilliantly made. Highly worth a watch.
