When her boyfriend dumps Emily, a spontaneous woman in her 30s, she persuades her ultra-cautious mom to accompany her on a vacation to Ecuador. At Emily’s insistence, the pair seek out adventure, but suddenly find themselves kidnapped.

Goldie Hawn reading a Hustler magazine and treating it like it's anything other than graphic smut is hilarious. An ongoing debate in film circles should be why she decided the peace and quiet of a fifteen year retirement should be disturbed to star in a mediocre, violent action-comedy. Snatched proves nothing else besides that so many people were reactionary in naming Amy Schumer the queen of comedy after one film.
Entertaining and fairly ambitious in scope. Whilst formulaic in its 'buddy movie' mother/daughter on-the-run from hoodlums premise, the familial chemistry between Schumer and Hawn is clear. Pity that this film perpetuates some negative South American stereotypes.
This film was cute... Amy's character description of tourtist in latino american countries is pretty hilarious "White Asshole" she turns from a selfish asshole to a woman who doesn't take her mother for granted anymore & grows up. I like the message of this film, many milennials tend to be like this ->"Assholes".
This movie is like Amy Schumer's comedy: unfunny, badly performed and probably stolen. That said, this really isn't that awful, it's just a bad movie nothing more nothing less. It'll leave anybody indifferent but at least not upset, wich is surprising taking into account the amount of nonsensical times Amy's tried to shove her feminist agenda up our arses. So props for that i guess.
