  1. captainfez's rating of the film Vamp

So that's what a Keith Haring C-3PO would look like.

  2. grotesc's rating of the film Vamp

  3. fromouterspace's rating of the film Vamp

1 star movie, 2 stars for grace jones

  4. Mathias Palmberg's rating of the film Vamp

A quite fun yet derivative 80´s horror comedy that is light on both the jokes and the fear. The casting is inspired and production design is outlandish. Even the sewers have smoke machines and neon lights! The score is pretty great also but the script is too light to warrant a 90 min running time. The real gem here is Dedee Pfeiffer who is so cute and adorable you almost forget about the other actors.

  5. Polyglot's rating of the film Vamp

As I predicted, the only good thing in the film is Grace Jones' amazing performance art dance.

  6. ΞRIC B∆D TASTΞ's rating of the film Vamp

a trip into a bloody darkness. cool 80s trash horror movie... i really prefer the vamps who aren't that over-powerful.

  7. ExperimentoFilm's rating of the film Vamp

Bloody awful first 20 minutes. After that lots of bloody fun. Grace Jones’ dance was very nice.

  8. nothere's rating of the film Vamp

A somewhat forgettable 80's horror/comedy though not without being intermittently entertaining. Grace Jones steals every scene she's in and without so much as growling and looking awful in unconvincing vampire make-up. The experience is quite unimaginative but best viewed around 2:30 a.m.

  9. HKFanatic's rating of the film Vamp

The kid from "Meatballs" and the jock from "Nightmare on Elm Street 2" happen upon a strip club where the employees are vampires (sound familiar?). Sadly, the script struggles to keep the characters occupied for 90 minutes; nobody wanted to see Grace Jones take her clothes off; and, in a seemingly misguided homage to Dario Argento, the cinematographer managed to bathe every location in harsh pink and green lights.

  10. lewis_longshanks's rating of the film Vamp

Despite being the influence to a certain Rodriguez/Tarantino project, Vamp might otherwise be remembered from hazy memories when the VHS rental reigned supreme. The cheese factor, from the script to the choice in actors are why Vamp remains such a guilty pleasure for me. As such, Vamp is a fun, if forgettable, little comedy horror, relying on Grace Jones' performance in altogether maintaining the film's appeal.
