Our take

After ruling the 1980s, action-horror-sci-fi director John Carpenter (Halloween, The Thing, Christine) made a return to form with Vampires: an homage to the spaghetti western and yet another cult classic. Savage, stylish, blood-soaked fun, all executed in Carpenter’s remarkable visual style.
