One of the worst movies I've ever seen. I wouldn't even call it a movie! Random uninteresting people, hardly any discussion or interaction and no clues of to what has happened to them/is happening to them or where they are. Add to this a (deliberate) bad picture quality and you've got something you'll be happy to let pass.
played in super 8, rarefied and suspended atmosphere that reminds me of naomi kawase's cinema. different characters in the same unity of space and time: a summer day in a small thermal village. little stories, with little dialogues that slowly develop the nature of characters and the reason why they meet there. one of my best discoveries at the venice film festival.
