As the title implies, an essay, structured in different parts and on different authors or chapters of cinema's history, about the origins of cinema, when in its relentless pursuit of forms and approaches cinema proved to be much more exciting and innovative than what came after the triumph of bourgeois narrative and fiction accommodation. True to these sources, this essay is, at least, highly inventive.
