Men of action may win the revolution, but soon as it's done the moneybags and intellectuals swoop in to undermine it - and before the victors know it they're asking where the rug's gone. Entertaining all the way, though one shudders to think of all the historical inaccuracies. Well! Hollywood! But if you're in the mood for mid-thirties Hollywood "Mexican" kitsch, Robin Hood of El Dorado is vastly the better picture.
