Ratings & Reviews

  1. Guillermo Padilla's rating of the film War Dance

Deconstruction into the past of child victims of war to aspire to escape through music. The director achieves a very human work without abusing the tools easy to move and create empathy viewers.

  2. mpho3's rating of the film War Dance

Some of the dialogue seems scripted, but there's no denying the horrors the film's protagonists have endured. It feels too certain that the children will win their competition, but will they? It quickly ceases to matter: it's beautifully filmed, the subject/s are compelling, and your heart will go out to every one who graces the screen. I don't object to anyone triumphing over such extreme tragedy and circumstances.
