This seems like a very respectful, sympathetic document, trying to see things through the eyes of new immigrants, walking in their footsteps beginning from early on in the process of becoming adrift in your own country. That Germany welcomes refugees and tries to understand where they are coming from is deeply moving. I wish there had been no soundtrack, but not as much as I wish there was no president Trump.
