Ratings & Reviews

  1. Joana Teixeira's rating of the film Water

  2. Michael Diers's rating of the film Water

  3. FISCHER's rating of the film Water

  4. _cmb's rating of the film Water

a bit predictable & the acting wasn't so great, but it addresses some important issues that have gone unnoticed, while reflecting & exemplifying some of the subjects & themes of postcolonial literature.

  5. EdieEmm's rating of the film Water

Visually sumptuous enough that it's not impossible to sit through the formulaic and predictable story. The film addresses some important things, though in entirely unoriginal ways... further detracted from by the heavy reliance on some kinda problematic tropes. Meh.

  6. rajendran's rating of the film Water

u r making our india proued guinness rajendran

  7. Lorna Singh's rating of the film Water

Moving and with a message conveyed subtly, by showing how the women were forced to live because of tradition. With great cinematography and performances.

  8. danliofer's rating of the film Water

Water can clean and open one´s eyes, on the other hand, it can hardly clean cultural prejudices out of the brains no matter how divine the water is...

  9. Catron's rating of the film Water

Deepa Mehta is one of the most adventurous and courageous filmmakers of our time. She deserves more than her own page! Regardless, FIRE and EARTH, the other parts of this trilogy are also not to be missed!
