What are people saying?

  • Canaletto's rating of the film Waydowntown

What results from introducing brains to Gondry, excluding the zombies from Romero’s Dawn of the dead plus paranoid vocational uncertainty, claustrophobial panic and self-discovery is this mildly psychedelic mind fuck. The unreasonable but highly effective stylistic decisions keep this film at a 150 kph all the way through. Viscerally entertaining, an unexpected surprise.
