Especially visually, this is another strong film by Burhan Qurbani who surprised me with his film "Shahada" a couple years ago. I think "We are young. We are strong." doesn't quite reach the maturity Qurbani had shown with "Shahada", but it's nevertheless a strong film.
Chilling. It's a good film but I don't like that it looks like a Calvin Klein ad in the beginning and the actors all look like kids from the best families playing dress up. They're too clean, too fashionable, too polite, too quiet to play the 'real nazis'. Give them a few tracksuits, ill-fitting jeans, ugly trainers, bomber jackets and more cuss words. The director and the actors seem like typyical artsy bourgeoisie.
