What are people saying?

  • Daniel S.'s rating of the film We Dive at Dawn

**1/2. Shot in 1942, We Dive at Dawn is not what we might call a propaganda movie. It's simply an honest war movie shot in the middle of WWII. The first half is rather boring but the second one allows us to get to know a little bit better the interior geography of a submarine of the time. It's like going to the museum, it's hardly cinema anymore. A DVD zone hardcore fans of WWII war movies or of John Mills.
