What are people saying?

  • José Neves's rating of the film Welcome to Madagascar

Maghreb, Algiers, tales of a city. Using an imagetic tune of and by memory, inscribed in it and organized by it, with the occurrence of several voices off, never discursives or didactic - some Duras in Prenant's voice-, as if it were a chorus about a space and its events, a Greek corpus in a piece around a character: a town, its portrait through decades, with an idea of a constant meta-narrative, magnifying it.
