Cried buckets. Everything, from the searing performance by Michael K. and Guy Pearce to the little moments, like a young Sylvester "cameo", made me feel so validated, and so proud to stand on the shoulders of giants who made being queer in the US possible. An outstanding tribute.
It starts with multiples and accurate facts about the beginning of the real LGBT movement in the 70s. But as long as the time pass, it feels like it's missing some passion or interest on re-making something real and reliable about certain events. Anyway, it's definitely a big must-watch to understand the whole LGBT fights with political contexts, main figures, approach on AIDS problem and social opinion about it all.
Vraiment essentiel.
