I can't believe this has a pretty high rating (?!), It was fine but I don't have a high expectation for a Clueless/Legally Blonde-inspired chick flick, 'rich dumb brat' movie. It was cute and fun, that's all.
this film is important to me because one day i saw WILD CHILD was playing in theatres so i went to go see it and it actually turned out to be truffaut's L'ENFANT SAUVAGE and that's how i discovered my local cinematheque
"WHO ARE WE?" "MALIBU MOMENT" *Rewinds scene of Harriet hitting Poppy in the face with dead birds 10 times* "When the Headgirl has earned my respect, THEN i'll shake her hand, biatch" Okay, this film is just fluff but its good fluff at that.
Surprisingly awesome, wildly entertaining chick flick - quite possibly the best in it's specific genre since "Mean Girls". Roberts is hysterically funny, supported by Lucy Dahls conventional, but sharp script. B+
