Ratings & Reviews

  1. Henri de Corinth's rating of the film Wild Palms

Rewatch for the first time since it aired in ‘93. Wagner’s distinctly Ballardian, somewhat satirical vision of the future predicted that VR (rather than the internet) would be the platform for demagogues, but the outcome is the same: a population literally strung out on a cult of personality. Nevermind the negative reviews from David Lynch fans (the greatest cult of personality of all).

  2. Roscoe's rating of the film Wild Palms

Among the most justly neglected works in TV history, a phony hip TWIN PEAKS cyberpunk wannabe that comes to life only when David Warner appears onscreen.
