  1. FISCHER's rating of the film Without Pity

Une oeuvre excellente, digne représentant du néo-réalisme italien... www.cinefiches.com

  2. Terri Wise's rating of the film Without Pity

  3. Karl J. Kipling's rating of the film Without Pity

Fellini script, Lattuada directing - you'd think it'd be a knockout, or at least very good. And though it's doubtless the only film of the 1940s in which a blonde Italian woman ends up with a black G. I. the whole film's terribly marred by bad melodrama and the extremely annoying tendency to rapidly switch from Italian to English and back again in mid-conversation - mid-sentence even. Can't recommend it.
