Ratings & Reviews

  1. ExperimentoFilm's rating of the film Xtro

Fun B movie nastiness with one of the world's worst musical scores "written" and "performed" by the director (a la Carpenter) no less.

  2. Scorpio Velvet's rating of the film Xtro

Had some good moments, but just went little out of the loop for some reasons.

  3. Freude's rating of the film Xtro

it was rather mediocre.. but then the midget clown alien came in

  4. Lights in the Dusk's rating of the film Xtro

A bleak, low-budget shocker, which uses its vaguely nonsensical plot to explore a potentially deeper subtext relating to a child's despair. In the same way that Zulawski's much superior Possession employed grotesque horror iconography to evoke the decline of a relationship through metaphor, the genre aspects of Xtro seem explicit to the child's sense of abandonment & the loss of his father during the opening scene.

  5. film_lies101's rating of the film Xtro

The fx/lo-fi fucked up visuals really render everything else moot

  6. dave gunn's rating of the film Xtro

Laughably low-budget with horrendous acting, but full of so much genuinely horrific, creepy, disgusting creature effects and visuals that the entire thing is worth it.
