  • ramosbarajas's rating of the film Yo, el valiente

Even with some drawbacks and flaws, it is still a well made film. The story is somewhat simple, but could use a bit of cleaning up. The performances are strong for the most part, especially from Fernandez. I feel there are too many songs, though. They take a toll on you. Overall it's a good example of the 60s, especially in a time where the Mexican film industry was already suffering. Watched: May 30, 2012.
