While the performances were great, their characters weren't written as well as they could have been. I was drawn in, but I felt unable to decipher how each one of them truly felt, and more importantly, why they felt that way. Still a good film, though I would suggest Haneke's The Piano Teacher instead.
This movie felt like it dragged its way to the cinema. Sad how this plot seem almost overused that it's difficult to even review this without being sarcastic. Regardless, commendable performances by its two female leads. The film's trademark must be its screeching loud, little wooden noises when around the house. That really sets the mood.
