Not bad. Douglas gives it his all. I understand that he did not connect with Doris Day who is obviously uncomfortable BUT she is a great singer and she has her moments. Bacall does nicely with an impenetrable character. Juano Hernandez is, as always, an asset. I enjoyed it.
Good noir musical biopic (hows that for a mash-up?), especially frigid, psycho Bacall and tour-de-force alcoholic Douglas. All Doris Day can do is stand back and let those two monsters devour each other.
