This could have been just another movie that tries to make you cry, however outstanding performances by Hillary Swank and Emmy Rossum made this movie credible and compelling. By keeping it real and honest, the movie has an authentic feel without trying too hard, which I really appreciate. Nevertheless, I gave it four stars just because the plot is hardly original.
Lots and lots of crying. Hilary and Emmy were really great. Bon Iver as soundtrack was really a plus. And, of course, a bit more of crying. A good example on how people around us tend to treat us differently when we're not okay. Also, a good example on how there are simple things we can help each other with and how we should give attention to that more often.
