Animated puppet-film in which grandpa, having rescued a drowning merchant and being awarded a piece of gold as reward, makes an eventful homeward journey. He swaps the gold for a horse, the horse for an ox, the ox for a sheep, the sheep for a pig and the pig for a needle for grandma.
