Everything about this is gratuitous and formulaic, designed to appeal to viewers who liked Coen Bos. or Tarantino: the violence, the 60's soundtrack, even the cinematography. What they spent on rights to the songs is probably enough to pay for a hospital in a 3rd world country. I'm reminded of the words of Dorothy Parker: This is not a film "which should be tossed aside lightly. It should be thrown with great force."
