    Contrary to its title, those workers aren't blacksmiths, rather employees of the Edison Manufacturing Company. Charles Kayser, John Ott, and that other man are three of the first screen actors in history. And this 30-second work is thought to be the first film of more than a few feet to be publicly exhibited, which I think is enough to warrant a 5-star rating since it's a piece of history.

    I love that the first few seconds of this historic film feature a partial silhouette of somebody accidentally standing in front of the shot
