Synopsis
In Milan, some beggars have formed a kind of brotherhood, headed by a certain Carlone, a good man after all, who has with him his sister Anna, a poor blind girl. One day Carlone rescues a maimed who attempted to end his days in the Naviglio; Anna’s care completely brings him back to life.
