Ce que vous en pensez

  • dionysus67's rating of the film La vis

The promising start with some nice b/w shots wanes quickly as the Kafkaesque edifice of state apparatus turns into a space inhabited by caricatures obsessed with mechanical parts and different types of screws. While there are pungent jokes (mainly the polyglot universe which turns into a paradoxically coherent cacophony) the main flaw is Reno's grimaces and the lack of deeper social commentary. Quite disappointing.
