Notre avis

A documentary profile of the iconic Janis Joplin, this film from Amy Berg (West of Memphis) captures both sides of the pained, paradoxical figure: juxtaposing the powerful live performances of a legend and the intimate letters that reveal Joplin’s underlying loneliness. A thoughtful tribute.
