We are seeking a highly-motivated individual with marketing experience and a passion for film to join our team in Colombia and lead our Colombian marketing strategy and execution. You will be an integral part of a small, dedicated team working to build awareness and fuel subscriber growth in Colombia through partnerships, paid and organic social media, content-driven campaigns, and brand marketing.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Colombia, defining long term goals for growth in collaboration with MUBI’s Director of Marketing, LATAM
- Identify and pursue relationships with optimal platforms, corporate partners, institutions and brands, as well as managing all existing CO-based partnerships
- Plan and execute campaigns to spur growth/customer acquisition
- Support and coordinate with the distribution team on film release campaigns
- Coordinate with the core digital marketing team on digital campaigns
- Identify trends and dynamics in the local SVOD market, film industry, and the evolving digital landscape
- Work closely with the content team to promote MUBI’s programming and curation
- Analyze and evaluate marketing activities to determine impact, monitoring and optimizing to constantly improve KPIs
- Assist in local execution of global marketing campaigns including brand campaigns, content-specific campaigns, and seasonal promotions
- Organise screenings and events including premieres in coordination with our global programming and/or distribution teams
- Manage a small team
IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- Passionate about arthouse and independent film, and knowledgeable of the Colombian independent film sector
- Experience planning and executing traditional and digital marketing campaigns; stays up-to-date on trends in the digital marketing landscape
- Entrepreneurial mindset, highly self-motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- 7 years of experience working for an entertainment, lifestyle or technology brand
- Creative thinker with lots of ideas, willing to look past easy answers to find the best solution to any problem
- Experience developing consumer-facing brand marketing strategies, and planning and executing campaigns, with particular knowledge/understanding of Colombian audiences
- Impeccable attention to detail and highly organized
- Team player who enjoys working collaboratively with cross-functional counterparts
- A confident and effective communicator with strong writing skills
- Analytics-driven mindset, with ability to determine appropriate KPIs, measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimize accordingly
- Able to manage a budget and use resources efficiently and savvily
- Experience managing small teams
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Marketing professional with at least 7 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus
