Our take

Joe Swanberg has quietly made one of the most prolific oeuvres of this young century and All the Light in the Sky is another modest yet affecting entry. Shot with minimal means, the naturalism achieved here is remarkable, and Jane Adams’s authentic turn gives the film a deeply resonant core.
