Our take

Filled with humor, dreams, and tenderness, Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Cemetery of Splendour might be his most ravishing film to date. With his signature slow cinema style, he infuses Thai spiritualism into the quotidian, rendering visits to a small-town hospital a magnificent, eerie experience.
