Claire, a teacher with a camera, is visiting Cannes. She happens upon a film sales assistant, Manhee, recently laid off after a one-night stand with a director. Together, this unlikely pair works to understand the circumstances of Manhee’s firing, developing new outlooks on life in the process.

Shot entirely during the Cannes Film Festival, this quirky comedy is Korean director Hong Sang-soo at his most light and delightful. A self-mocking take on the film industry, it stars an irresistible Isabelle Huppert as the ultimate Frenchie, who believes that polaroids change lives!
