Our take

Transplanted from native Turkey to Italy, director Ferzan Ozpetek (Facing Windows) flourished there and Loose Cannons is a prime example of his talents: an appreciative understanding of cultural and family dynamics, and attractive storytelling that moves naturally from comedy to drama.
